Geraldine R. Hull January 20, 1938 – December 16, 2018 ROCKFORD – Geraldine R. Hull, age 80, of Rockford, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on December 16, 2018. Born January 20, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Sam and Rosalind Quaranta. Geraldine attended Elkhorn High School where she met her future husband Claude Hull.

They were married on October 28, 1956 in Elkhorn, WI. They moved to Colorado Springs while Claude served in the Army. Geraldine & Claude settled in the Rockford area in 1958.

She was a devoted wife, nurturing mother and a best friend. An excellent cook, anyone who entered her home can attest to never leaving hungry. Among her many interests, Geraldine was the President of her bowling league, a hospice volunteer and an active member in the Red Hat Society.

Geraldine treated all she met with kindness. An infectious smile and a generous nature were her trademarks. Much loved by friends and family, she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Claude Hull; daughters, Victoria (John Shannon) Reiland and Julee Buckley; sons, Jonathan (Nancy) Hull and Jarrod (Michelle) Hull; grandchildren, Andrew Jr. (Julia) Reiland, Melissa (Chris) Dalhoe, Mathew Buckley, David Hull and Madelein Hull; and great-granddaughter, Quinn Reiland. A Memorial Service for Geraldine will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday December 27, 2018 at Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Avenue, Rockford, with visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of services at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please donate to the Dementia Discovery Fund.
