Obituary for Mrs. Geraldine T. Henry Mrs. Geraldine T. Henry Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Bellevue Street Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Geraldine T. Henry, 75, who entered eternal rest, Monday, November 12, 2018 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park. Rev.

Joel Greene, Jr. will officiate at the service. Mrs. Henry is survived by her husband, Jules Henry of Opelousas, LA; two sons, Stewart Gary Henry (Christine) of Humble, TX and Martin Dale Henry (Monique) of Houston, TX; two daughters, Leslie Karen Hammond (Gaven) of Shreveport, LA and Syntoria Yvette Flagg (Antione) of Alvin, TX; a sister, Regina Anderson of Houston, TX; a brother, Daniel Tate of Opelousas, LA; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends. Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by her parents, Oneal “Pepper” Thomas, Jr. & Ida Mae Batiste; her step-father, Stephen Tate; maternal grandmother, Pearl Newton and an aunt Aaronell Leday.
