Geraldine Walling Clark, 92, of Celina, Tennessee, was born October 13, 1925, in McMinnville, Tennessee. She died July 2, 2018, in Cookeville, Tennessee. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, William H. Clark, grandson Richard Clark Roberts, parents Everett and Mattie Walling, step-mother Tomy Walling, brother Darrell Walling, sister-in-law Chris Walling, sister Doris Erwin and sister-in-law Geneva Clark Fowler. Mrs. Clark graduated from McMinnville High School and Middle Tennessee State College. She taught school at McMinnville City School, Hobgood School in Murfreesboro and in Clay County Schools.

After her husband’s death she managed their farm with the help of Robert Dulworth for 20 years. For more than forty years she taught Bible classes at Celina Church of Christ. She is survived by daughters Jane Robbins (Steve) of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and Ann Roberts of Cookeville, Tennessee, grandchildren William Robbins (Randi) of Nashville, Tennessee; Daniel Robbins of Chicago, Illinois; Amelia Roberts Howell (Matt) Cabot Arkansas; great grandchildren Kailyn Howell and Judah Howell of Cabot, Arkansas; many nieces and nephews and dear friends Maryann Hamilton, Linda Haston and Patsy Threet.

Pallbearers will be Steve Robbins, William Robbins, Daniel Robbins, Matt Howell, Jay Walling and Dick Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers, Women’s Bible Class of Celina Church of Christ, Maryann Hamilton and Linda Haston. Dennis Miller will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Walker Cemetery at the Bank of Celina or the Clay County Public Library.
