NAUGATUCK- Gerard Joseph “Gerry” Rouillard, 83, of Naugatuck, died peacefully Wednesday April 18th at Vitas Hospice in St.Mary’s Hospital after a brief illness with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Yvette (Doyon) Rouillard. Gerry was born February 23rd, 1935 in Claremont, New Hampshire, son of the late Rosario and Adella (Lambert) Rouillard.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War. He worked as a toolmaker for Anaconda American Brass until his retirement in 1997. In addition to his wife he is survived by his son and daughter in law Kevin and Catherine Rouillard of Naugatuck; daughters and sons in law Teresa and John Sheehan of Wallingford, Rachelle and Ken Pollock of Naugatuck, Debra and Mark Tapia of Tijeras ,N.M.; sister Frances Griswold of Terryville; fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sisters Anita Kabalka, Marie Densmore, Theresa Keen, Rosette Desautels and Claire Lezotte ARRANGEMENTS- A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday April 27th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church Naugatuck. Rites of Committal and military honors will follow in St. James Cemetery.
