Lunenburg Gerda Dietz, 90 Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother Gerda Dietz, 90, died Tuesday May 29, at Health Alliance Hospital after a brief illness. Gerda was born in Schnecken, Germany April 24, 1928, daughter of Josef and Rosa Dietz. She is survived by her children Ruth M. Dietz, Peter K. Dietz, Josef Dietz and Charles J. Dietz.

Her sister Inge. Also ten grandchildren Aaron, John, Katey, Rebecca, Lorilil, Zaccaria, Jakob, Todd, Arrum and Cari. Also five great grandchildren.

Gerda was predeceased by her husband Peter M. Dietz, her brothers Hans, Karl and Konrad and her sister Ushi. Gerda worked for Independant Lock Co., Carbone’s restaurant and later for Digital Corp. where she was executive secretary for Ken Olsen, founder and CEO.

She retired in 1990 from Digital. Gerda was active with Senior Citizens of Lunenburg where she loved her Bingo and dining and taking many trips. She loved her family and loved spending time with them, particularly Aaron, her Lobster Man.

Gerda passed away in her sleep after seeing her boys and close family members.
