Gertrudes P. Pogata, 90, of Bayonne, passed away on December 3, 2018. Gertrudes was born in Hawaii and migrated to the Philippines, and then to the United States before settling in Bayonne, NJ. She was the loving mother of Cora Van den Broeck and her husband Jozef, Marciano Pogata Jr. and his wife Arlyn, Aniceto Pogata and his wife Lizzeth, Servill Pogata and his wife Leah, and Prudencia Pogata; cherished grandmother of Marilyn Van den Broeck and her husband Peter Kuselias, Marc Clyde Pogata, Cianyl Mae Pogata, Ariel Pogata, Aurie Pogata and Marygrace Pogata.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME, 3205 Kennedy Blvd (For GPS use Address 14 Stagg, St., Jersey City). Funeral times are pending arrangements. Entombment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, NJ.
