Gharld “Grampa Junior” Vance, 74, of Beloit, WI, died on Sunday, March 10, 2019 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 24, 1944 in Beloit, WI, the son of Gharld H. and Mildred (Salisbury) Vance. Grampa Junior attended LaFarge High School, LaFarge, WI.

He married Marsha Putman on August 4, 1984. Grampa Junior was employed by Chrysler as an assembler, retiring in 1998. Everyone referred to him as “Grampa Junior” and was loved by so many.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bonfires with friends and family “up north” in Babcock, WI. Grampa Junior also enjoyed board games, casinos and attending the Annual Sturgis Bike Rally. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and special dog, Rusty.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Marsha Vance of Beloit, WI; children, Glori Vance-Bermudez, Becki (Ben) Brockman, Sheri (Ricardo) Perez, Toni (Marco) Ruiz, and Steven (Shelley) Putman all of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Rosa and Tino Bermudez, Junior (Alexandria) Alexander, Maegen Burki, Ricardo Jr., Andres (Heather), and Aurora Perez, Stephanie (Adrian) Hernandez, Marty and Kyrsta Redieske, Breanna Hill, Kartiel and Adriel Ruiz, Paige, Jacob, and Faith Putman, and Terressa Phillips; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Harold Vance of Beloit, WI and Roger Vance of Ft. Atkinson, WI; sisters, Thelma (Ross) Bird of Sun Prairie, WI and Jean Zieders of Iowa; brother-in-law, David Pippin; several cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; grandson, Antonio Jovanni Perez; brother, Harlen Vance; sisters, Mary and Pauline Vance, Lillian Austin, Lucille Pippin, and Norma Beeman; sisters-in-law, Pat and Shelly Vance.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd. , Beloit, WI, with Pastor Ian Stirrat officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation of remembrance will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
