Donna’s Obituary Donna Ellen Craig, 85, of Beloit, Wisconsin, passed away at her home on Friday, March 1, 2019. Donna was born on October 27, 1933 in Vernon County, Wisconsin, the oldest of twelve children of Sheldon Edgar and Victorine Helen (Coy) Ward. Donna graduated eighth grade from the Hawkins Creek School in Hub City, Wisconsin.

Donna married Robert LeRoy Craig on December 19, 1953 in Beloit. In 1957 they moved to Richland Center, Wisconsin were they worked together on a turkey farm. In 1960, Donna and Robert returned to Beloit were they worked and lived on the Katterhenry Farm.

Donna was employed for a few years at Admiral Appliance in Harvard, Illinois. She was then employed for 28 years as a cook for the Beloit-Turner School District retiring in 2000. Donna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, going to garage sales, and babysitting.

Donna is survived by her husband, Robert Craig; daughters, Barbara Rykowski, and Brenda Darwin; grandchildren, Jamie, Freddie, Troy, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Sabrina, Bobby, Brooke, Austin, Alex, Ramon, Emaila, Caleb, and Bailey; great-great-grandchildren, Landin, Dallaas, Jordan, Jay’dien, ans N’Maya; siblings, Donald (Shirley) Ward, Joanne (Frederick) Hawkinson, William (Tressa) Ward, Bonnie (Fred) Anderson, Evelyn (Rick Baumeister) Ward, Peggy (Frank) Long, Marilyn (Darryl) James, and Sheldon Ward, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jodi Poff; grandchildren, Little David, and Jackie; and siblings, Roger Ward, Deloris Laybourn, and Inez Adsit. Memorial services are 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2018 at Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home, 424 Prospect Street, Beloit, Wisconsin 53511 with David Meding of Central Christian Church officiating.
