Gilford J. Jandreau Loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle Gilford J. Jandreau, 85, of Pelham, died Sunday, December 23rd at the Aurora Nursing Home in Derry. He was the beloved husband of Jeannette M. (Vallee) Jandreau who survives him and with whom he celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on June 26th of this year. Born in New Brunswick, Canada, he was a son of the late Alfred and the late Marie (Oakes) Jandreau.

Before retiring, Gilford was employed as a carpenter with Digital Equipment Corporation in Salem, NH. In addition, he worked as a custodian at St. Mark’s Church in Londonderry. Among his many interests, he enjoyed camping, gardening, square-dancing and carpentry.

However, his true passion was building and finishing all types of furniture. He was also a member of the Men of St. Joseph and the Knights of Columbus at St. Mark’s Church. In addition to his wife Jeannette, Gilford is survived by three daughters Linda Parker and her husband Ron of Litchfield, NH, Deborah Pacunas and her husband Ken of Derry, NH and Jeanne Froton and her husband Randy of Freemont, NH; five grandchildren Brittney-Lynne Harding and her husband Adam, Tyler Stanley and his wife Kate, Ashley Froton, Kaylee Pacunas and Leah Pacunas; two sisters Lillian Maranto and her husband Jim of Londonderry, NH and Albertin Richard of Lawrence, MA; a brother Alphonse Jandreau of Millinocket, ME; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 3 to 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Thursday morning, January 3rd at ST. MARK’S CHURCH in Londonderry at 10:30 o’clock followed by burial in Gibson Cemetery in Pelham. E-condolences/directions at www.
