Obituary for Giovanni Cataldo Giovanni ”John” Cataldo, 83 of Staten Island, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Richmond University Medical Center. Born Tuesday, December 4, 1934 in Palermo, Italy, he was the son of the late Salvatore Cataldo and the late Maria Luisa Cataldo. He was the beloved husband of Girolama Cataldo.

loving father of Salvatore Cataldo and Natale Cataldo, daughters, Maria Luisa Filetto and Maria Concetta Aynes. Dear father in law of Maria Cataldo, Gina Cataldo and John Filetto. Cherished grandfather of Gabby, Sammy, Luca, Amanda, Eric, Thomas, and Isabella and great grandfather of Salvatore and Guadalupe.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
