Obituary for Marlene T Marino Marlene T Marino, 74 of Great Kills, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Staten Island University Hospital South in Staten Island. Born Wednesday, July 21, 1943 in New York, New York, she was the daughter of the late Romolo Gabbani and the late Anna Milazzo Gabbani. Marlene, a Medical Clerk for Staten Island University Hospital, South Site, dedicated her spare hours volunteering at Eger Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

She relished in the time she spent there helping others as was her nature. Marlene loved to draw and color, enjoyed being on the beach and listening to and watching the waves, but most of all, she cherished her time with her birds, asking them to sing to her before they went to sleep. Beloved wife of Richard Marino Sr. Loving mother of Richard Marino, Jr., Robert Marino and Raymond Marino, and her daughter Lorraine Morales.

Dear mother in law of Anthony Morales and Gina. Fond sister of Ronnie Gabbani. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Alex Morales, Matthew Marino, Salvatore, Antonella, and Giovanni Marino.

A Funeral service will be at 8:30 PM on Sunday at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
