Gladys A. Cousins, 80, of Prospect passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at her residence. Born July 16, 1938 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Cathryn McCool Christy. She was a homemaker and a member of Butler New Beginnings Free Methodist Church.

She enjoyed playing bingo, building puzzles, being involved in her church and especially spending time with her family. Surviving are three daughters: Karen (Kevin) Eckenrode; Bonnie Eckenrode and LeaAnn Myers, all of Butler. A son, Michael Cousins, also of Butler.

Eight grandchildren: Kayla Wise of Harmony, PA, Kristy Cousins, Crystal Eckenrode, Alyssa Eckenrode Kelly Everetts, all of Butler. Donald Myers of Pittsburgh, Kasey Cousins of Connoquenessing, and Jesse Myers of Karns city. Ten great-grandchildren.

A brother, Ken Christy of Butler and a sister, Emma Eckenrode of Calary, PA. Numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L.Cousins four brothers and two sisters.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. from 2-4 pm Monday. Funeral Services will follow Monday at 4:00 pm from the Funeral Home.
