Obituary for Glen “Vinnie” Skaleski Glen “Vinnie” Skaleski, 66, Green Bay, passed away July 29, 2018, after complications from PSP. Born on March 15, 1952, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Edward and Marie (Coppens) Skaleski. He graduated from Premontre High School class of 1970.

Vinnie attended UWGB. He worked and retired from Campbell Wrapper. Vinnie loved golfing, playing cribbage, meeting up with friends at Lenny’s, and traveling.

He cherished one final trip to Alaska which was the end of his bucket list. Vinnie felt blessed to visit all 50 states. He is survived by his siblings, Carol Van Goethem and special friend Dale Fictum, Jeanette (Ray) Van Goethem, and Eileen (Joe) Layden; nieces and nephews, Karen (Pat) Muchowski, Janelle (Virgil) Robinson, Sue (Craig) Shaffer, Ron (Tracy) Van Goethem, and Tim (Melissa Browne) Van Goethem, Catherine (Scott) Beaudo, Philip (Jen) Layden, Maggie (Adam) Becker; grand nieces and nephews and very special friend, Jackie Darling.

Vinnie was preceded in death by his parents; infant nephew, Kevin Van Goethem and brother-in-law, Robert Van Goethem. Per Vinnie’s wishes no formal services will be held. A celebration of life will take place with information to follow.
