Obituary for Glenda Bellew Glenda Bellew, age 75, of Newburgh, IN, passed away, Thursday, September 6, 2018. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Severne Carroll, her husband, Gary Bellew, 2 brothers, Randy Carroll and Johnny Carroll. Glenda graduated from the University of Evansville and proudly served her community as a registered nurse for more than 30 years.

Glenda was a cancer survivor; a former smoker who worked hard to beat the habit. She could frequently be seen at McDonalds as she made her way around town visiting friends. Glenda had many accomplishments, but none gave her as much joy as seeing her sons grow into the men they are today.

Survivors include: 2 Sons: Troy Bellew of Durham, NC Gary and Lori Bellew of Newburgh, IN Sister: Mary Jane Stevens and her husband Bob of Evansville, IN Brother: Wesley Carroll, Jr. of Lexington, KY Relatives and friends are invited to Glenda’s Life Celebration from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday and again on Monday starting at 8:00 a.m. at Dayspring Church of God of Prophecy in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 10, 2018 at the church with Reverend Greg Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Henderson, KY In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Dayspring Church of God of Prophecy.
