Glenn Allen Smith, 45, of Liberal, passed away on Monday August 27, 2018. He was born on December 30, 1972 to Jason and Brenda (Johnson) Smith in Long Beach, CA. Glenn grew up in the Turpin, OK area and was a graduate of Turpin High School; class of 1993.

He was an avid sports fanatic; his favorite team was the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He also enjoyed playing card games, watching movies, listening to music, and was a five-time International Pancake Day Pancake Eating Champion; one year consuming 36 pancakes within 30 minutes. One of his favorite Thanksgiving traditions was playing family football games with his brothers and nephews.

Glenn had a kind heart and loved his family deeply. Glenn is survived by his Mother – Brenda Smith of Liberal, KS; Three Brothers – Donovan Smith and wife Jennifer of Tyrone, OK, Neil Smith and wife Stephanie of Decatur, AL, and Dallas Smith and wife Iris of Tyrone, OK; Three Nephews – Zackary Smith, Cody Smith and Wyatt Smith; Two Nieces – Nataley Smith and Kaitlyn Thompson. He was preceded in death by Father- Jason James Allen Smith and Nephew – Conner Smith There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.

Memorial Services will be 3:00 pm Saturday, September 8, 2018, at the Church of Christ in Tyrone, OK, with Lance Morrisett, officiating. A private family Inurnment will follow the services. Memorials are suggested to the Tyrone Booster Club in care of Miller Mortuary PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67905-0826.
