Glenn E. Squires October 27, 1941 – May 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Glenn E. Squires 77 of Marinette passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at home. He was born on October 27, 1941, to the late William and Edna (Murrach) Squires on the family farm in Pound and graduated from Lena High School in 1959. On May 26, 1962, Glenn married Verna Block at First Presbyterian Church in Menominee; she preceded him in death on January 28, 2013.

He had worked for Kargaard Industries, Montex, was the Captain of Bay Charter Fishing and owned G&V Taxidermy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, animals, and the Packers. Glenn is survived by three daughters: Dawn Harris of Marinette, Becky (Chuck) Stepniak of Stephenson, and Diane Squires of Marinette; a sister, Alice Squires of Watertown; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Verna, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie. Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 15th from 2-4pm. Funeral Services will be held at 4pm with Pastor Jon Nelson officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
