Glenn Edward Mayer was born May 12, 1939 in Bellevue, Nebraska to Albert and Katherine (Glockner) Mayer. He passed away October 21, 2018 in Luther at the age of 79. Glenn was an excellent diesel mechanic who was able to fix virtually anything.

He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He loved to ride his motorcycle, camp and fish. Glenn loved his children and grandchildren.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mathew Glenn Mayer. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Laura (Cochran) Mayer of the home; children, Chance Mayer of Luther, Cash Mayer and wife Nicole of Greenwood, AR, Morgan Mayer and wife Trish of Tecumseh; (2) grandchildren; Harley and Isaac; brother, Ron (Pooh) Mays of Luther; many other family and friends. A private service was held and arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home.
