Glenn Wilbert Long, Sr, 78, of Melbourne, Arkansas, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at his home in Melbourne. He was born in Trumann, Arkansas on November 12, 1939, son of the late William Calvin and Bertha Lorena (Anderson) Long. Glenn spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He served our country in the United States Navy for many years. During his working years, Glenn worked for the county of Madera and Sacramento in California. He loved old cars and being a Veteran.

Glenn is survived by his children, Pamela Bailes and husband Kenny of Ada, Oklahoma, Glenda Malveaux of Fresno, Californai, Glenn Long, Jr and wife Shannon of Franklin, Arkansas, Robert Long and wife Melissa of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas and Ronald Long and wife Madeline of Melbourne, Arkansas; 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and 3 sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Lou Long; daughters, Virginia Ellen Long and Brenda Lorene Long, parents, William and Bertha Long; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Private services are being held.
