Gloria Ann Smith, 81 , of Twelve Mile, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Wynnfield Crossing in Rochester. Born on March 11, 1937 in Metea, Indiana, she was the daughter to the late James Arad Crist and Lillian Abigail (Tabler) Crist. On July 7, 1957 in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church she married Homer V. Smith who preceded in death on July 28, 2016.

Gloria was a Registered Nurse for the Caston School Corporation and Logansport Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church Surviving are two daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Dague, Monticello; Cristi (Todd) Doty, Twelve Mile; two sons, Steve (Melonie) Smith, Clermont, FL; James Edward Smith, Kissimmee, FL; grandchildren, Kenlyn, Bailey and Ashton Smith; Cameron, Brock, and Alyssa Miller; Zachary Dague; Amber Esteban; Quinton Doty and Keegan Doty; great grandchildren, Liam, Parker and Katelynn Miller; sister, Sandra Wheadon, Twelve Mile. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tanya Sue Smith and a brother, James Robert Crist.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, June 15, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home.
