Gloria Jean Rhyne of Belleville, Illinois passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at her home, having attained the age of 82 years, 6 months and 23 days. Gloria was born in North Carolina. She was united in marriage to Carl Rhyne on November 5, 2005 in Belleville, Illinois and he survives her passing.

She was a phlebotomist and a member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jesse “Buddy” Jarrell. Surviving are her husband, Carl Rhyne of Belleville, Illinois; her step-children, David (Wendy) Butler of Livingston, Texas, Natasha (Shannon) Grills of Lebanon, Illinois and Carl Rhyne of Belleville, Illinois; her grandchildren, William Payne, Brooklyn Payne, Michael Butler and Frederick Butler and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is assisting the family.
