Gloria Pearl Weber, 68, of Waynesboro passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born November 18, 1950 in Newton, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Alfred George Ashton, Sr. and Lillie May Clouse Ashton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Paul Weber and her grandson, Brian Joseph Preziosi.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Henry John Weber, Jr.; her children, Geri Moreland and her husband, Arthur of Lyndhurst, Howard Mertine and Karen Linfante of Alpha, New Jersey, Alison Weber of Waynesboro and Timothy Weber and his wife, Beatrice of Stuarts Draft; her brother, Alfred Ashton, Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Staunton; seven grandchildren, Justin, Robert, Brianna, Jason, Jenna, Skyanne and JJ and four great-grandchildren, Carter, Grayson, Everleigh and Ayden. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions, in her name, to the American Cancer Society,420 Neff Avenue, Suite 210, Harrisonburg, VA 22801, Tel: 1-540-434-3360 or the American Lung Association,Donation Processing Center, PO Box 7000, Albert Lea MN 56007-8001.
