Obituary of Gloria Yoder Gloria F. Yoder, 68, of Iowa City; formerly of Champaign/Urbana, Illinois passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospitals following declining health. Gloria Faye was born July 15, 1949, in Kalona, Iowa; daughter of Daniel S. and Fannie (Beachy) Yoder. After growing up in the Kalona area, Gloria settled in the Champaign/Urbana area where she resided until her health brought her back to this area in recent years.

Gloria appreciated art, nature and the natural beauty in things and before her health limitations, was active with the Urbana-Champaign Friends Church helping to promote peace and justice. She is survived by her siblings which include, Velma Burnham (Robert) of Grinnell, Ezra Yoder (Faye) of Colorado, Erma Edwards (Del Coppinger) of Iowa City, Robert Yoder (Joleen) of Vermont and Raymond Yoder of Kalona; sister-in-law, Linda Yoder of West Virginia as well as numerous extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Delmar Yoder of West Virginia.

Family services will be held at a later time. In death, Gloria was able to help others through her gift of donation to the University of Iowa Department of Anatomy-Deeded Body Program.
