Goldie Oneal Smith April 25, 1936 – January 19, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences Goldie Oneal Smith of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Johnnie Cox and Nancy Hardwick Cox was born April 25, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:15 P.M., January 19, 2019 in Lebanon. Age: 82 She professed faith in Christ and when she was able attended Mannsville United Methodist Church.

Goldie was a social butterfly who always wanted to look her best and enjoyed dancing, country music and watching Westerns. She loved entertaining her family and was the life of the party. She enjoyed life to the fullest.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion. She united in marriage to W. Paul Smith May 30, 1962. He preceded her in death October 2, 2013.

She is survived by one son, Clifford Krider and wife, Diane Foster; three granddaughters: Nicole Krider and husband, Robby Scott and Natasha Krider of Louisville and Michelle Stubbs and husband, Lee of Richmond; three great- grandchildren: Logan Porter Stubbs, Myah Paisley Stubbs and Lila Goldie Scott; two brothers and one sister: Keith Cox and wife, Laura, Wendell Cox and Geraldine Parrish of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Marlea Angelique “Angel” McCubbin, September 20, 2008 and three sisters and one brother: Jo Osborne, Thelma Borens, Hallie Ratliff and Mitchell Cox.
