Gordon “Bud”‘s Obituary Gordon “Bud” Ralph Thomas age 75 of Red Feather Lakes, Colorado passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. Bud was born April 22, 1944 to Robert Lee and Ruby Lois Thomas in Greeley, Colorado. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1961 to 1966: 4 years, 4 months, and 4 days.

On November 5, 1973 Bud married Sandra Magee. Together they raised their three children: Robert, Austin, and Christine. For the past 5 years, they have been raising their grandson, Brett Thomas.

He retired from Home Light and Power/ Excel Energy. He served as president of his local union 1490. When Bud wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with family.

He also loved to go fishing, camping, walking, and riding his motorcycle. Bud is preceded in death by his parents and sister. He is survived by sons: Robert Thomas, of Arizona, and Austin Thomas of Red Feather Lakes; his daughter: Christine Thomas of Fort Collins.

His sister Cherie Swindle of California and brother Robert Lee Thomas of Fort Collins and sister-in-law Yvonne and Anthony Duarte. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends. Services will be private.
