Gordon Ray Huckeby age 80 of Byrdstown Hwy. in Monroe, TN passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 4, 1938 in Overton Co., TN to Johnny Roy Huckeby and Stella (Vaughn) Huckeby.

He had owned and operated Livingston Auto Parts, was a Veteran, a NRA member, an avid hunter and fisherman. Ray is survived by (1) Daughter: Perri Lynn Capps and Husband: Burton ; (1) Brother: Lyman Huckeby ; (2) Grandchildren: Robert (Valerie) and James ; (3) Great Grandchildren: Audra, Tucker and Adelynn ; Hunting dog: Bandit. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents: Johnny and Stella Huckeby ; Wife: Margaret (Rich) Huckeby ; (6) Brothers: Leonard, Lester, Tilbert, Junior, A.B. and Preston Huckeby ; (1) Sister: Arleene Almonrod ; Multiple hunting dogs. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM from the Midway Christian Church with burial in the Cope Cemetery.
