Mr. Gordon Terrell Vaughn, age 57, of Carrollton passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019. He was born on Friday, July 7, 1961 in Atlanta. Mr. Vaughn was the son of the late, James Silvey Vaughn and the late, Nokomis Elaine (McNelley) Vaughn.

Besides his parents, Mr. Vaughn is preceded in death by his son, T.J. Vaughn. Mr. Vaughn made a career working as a Transmission Specialists for Abercrombie Transmission Services in Douglasville. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, fishing, camping, hiking, boat riding and wood working.

Mr. Vaughn especially loved spending time with his friends and family. Survivors include his wife, Shelba Ann George of Carrollton; three sons and two daughters-in-law, James and Nicole Vaughn of Douglasville, Ricky Shannon Lee George of Temple, and Michael and Hope George of Temple; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Toshia and Robert Pettit of Douglasville and Shree and David Jenkins of Milledgeville; three brothers, Royce Vaughn of Douglasville, Warren Paris of Bremen and Carl Sweet of Temple; one sister, Amanda Vaughn Pyle of Douglasville; his mother-in-law, Ila Hunton of Carrollton; ten grandchildren, Misty Brown, Wendy Brown, Summer Brown, Jonathan Wallace, Makayla Bivins, Aiden Jinks, Brooklyn George, Lillian George, Cane George and Noah George; one great-grandchild, Ila Bivins and a number of other relatives. In accordance with Mr. Vaughn’s wishes, he will be cremated.

Messages of condolence can be made to the family by signing the online guestbook. Cremation services are being provided by Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Temple.
