Grace I. Schwab, 89, 114 Silver Ave. , Lamar, PA died October 27, 2018 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Born October 29, 1928 in Marion Twp.

, Centre Co. she was the daughter of the later Mervin E. and Vida Korman Hoy. On March 2, 1949 she married Ray T. Schwab who died July 28, 2015. Grace was a 1948 graduate of the former Howard High School and an active member of the Salona United Church of Christ.

She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, baking, flower gardening and bird watching. But her family was most important to her. She is survived by: 4 Daughters: Doris (Carl) Denney, Bossier City, LA; Mary (David) Miller, Rock Ledge, FL; Marcia Barner, Centreville, VA; and Shelia (Donald) Samson, Verona, VA 2 Sons: Dennis Schwab, Lakeside, CA and Milton (Jennifer) Schwab, Vienna, VA 15 Grandchildren 19 Great-Grandchildren A funeral service to honor the memory of Grace I. Schwab will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11 A.M. in the Salona United Church of Christ with Pastor Cindy Killinger officiating.

Interment, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall, PA. Friends will be received in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA from 6-8 PM Friday, Nov. 2, 2018 At Grace’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Salona United Church of Christ through the funeral home.
