Hartsville, S.C. Funeral service for Grace Kathleen Brown Gibson age 90, will be held Friday at 3:00 at the Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Brad Griese and Rev.

Grover Johnson will officiate. Entombment will be in the Westview Mausoleum directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Gibson was born in Chesterfield a daughter of the late Ervin Locke Brown and Pearl Outlaw Brown. She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was a devoted Christian lady who loved the Lord, her church, family and everyone she knew. Surviving are her husband, Ernest L. “ Hoot “ Gibson, Jr.; two sons, Gene (Teresa) Gibson, Hartsville and Ervin (Jackie) Gibson, Hartsville; one brother, Heyward (Dot) Brown, Columbia; a special daughter in law, Jewel Gibson, Hartsville; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Chapel Hill Baptist Church, 1569 Ruby Road, Hartsville, S.C. 29550 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3223 Sunset Blvd.
