OBITUARY Grace Mary Cooper August 18, 1925 – September 23, 2018 Grace Mary Cooper, 93 of Winter Garden, FL went home to be with her Lord on September 23, 2018. She was born in Winter Garden, FL on August 18, 1925. A lifelong Winter Garden resident, Grace Mary graduated from Lakeview High School.

She worked as a bookkeeper for many local businesses over the years. Grace Mary was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church of Winter Garden and active as well in the West Orange Historical Society. She was an accomplished seamstress and became interested in art, both drawing and watercolors, after she had retired.

She lived for many years happily at Golden Pond and later moved to Health Central Park prior to her passing. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Grace Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Boyce Cooper. She is survived by her daughters: Beverly Thompson, Christy (Bruce) Ammerman, Allison (Paul) Jackson; her 10 grandchildren: Jennifer (Todd) Powell, Page (Eddie) Grimes, Roxanne (Greg) McNair, Josh Thompson, Adam (Tina) Thompson, Adrienne Ammerman, Nick (Sarah) Ammerman, Nicole Sawyer, Courtney (Aaron) Elswick, Robert Sawyer; her 19 great grandchildren and her 3 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 28 from 1 – 2 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, with funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 PM. Interment will be at the Winter Garden Cemetery, Winter Garden, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation in memory of Mrs. Cooper.
