Grace L. Popson, 93, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 16, 2018, with her family by her side. Born on October 24, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John “Sharky” and Mildred (Sangston) Dolan. She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church and was the former Secretary of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, Branch 111, Charleroi.

She was a long time President of the Confraternity of Christian Mother’s and taught CCD at Ss. Cyril and Methodius for 25 years. She had previously worked as a sales person for David Israel and Cox’s, in Charleroi, but mainly devoted her life to her family.

Grace is survived by her daughter, Trudy Berletich, of Roscoe; grandson, Robert (Renah LeJohn) Berletich; granddaughters, Jan (John) Hickman, Hedy Popson, and Jade Popson; great-granddaughters, Leandra (Seth) Clovis, Brittany Hickman, and Kasey Hickman; great-great-granddaughter, Callie Rae Clovis; sister-in-law, Betty Dolan; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Paul P. Popson; son, Robert P. Popson; and brother, Jack V. Dolan. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave.

, Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, in Mary, Mother of the Church, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
