Grace Davis, age 73 of DeForest, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg surrounded by her husband and close family. She was born July 18, 1944 at Poynette Hospital, the daughter of Arnold and Verda (Thompson) Erdman. She was united in marriage to John W. Davis June 5, 1965 in Rio.

Grace was a book keeper for Great Northern Cold Storage in Portage for about 20 years. She enjoyed traveling to the Indy 500, Branson and to casinos. She also enjoyed ceramics and listening to country music.

Survivors include her husband John, sons John, Jr. (Kathy) and Steven (Becky), five grandchildren, Nicholas, Molli, Teagan, Kinsey, and Eleri, sister Marjorie Erdman and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew Michael. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5 at 11 AM at Grasse Funeral Home in Rio.

Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Agrace and the doctors and nurses of U.W. Hospital for the care of Grace.
