Gregory Atory Ballenger, III, age 21, passed away on January 1, 2019. Greg, III was a funny, loving, energetic young man, that loved life and loved to make people laugh. He was the person who tried his best to keep everyone’s spirits high.

Known as the funny good-hearted guy, he was as genuine as they came, and F-A-M-I-L-Y meant everything to him! He will be missed by all the lives he touched. Preceded in death by his father, Gregory A. Ballenger, Jr.; great grandparents, Thelma and William Ballenger; great aunt, Patricia Jenkins and uncle, Travis Ballenger, Sr. Survived by his mother, Ella Carson; loving grandmother, Sherry Ballenger; grandfathers, Dana Littlejohn and Gregory Jackson; loving sisters, Geshae, Getaja, Geniya, Glacia, Glaya, Kayleigh and Hannah; brothers, Areece and Dreise; aunts, Olympia, Sherdane, Miracle and Mahogany; uncles, Tyshawn, Lil Dana, Tevin and Diarra; great aunts, Renee, Bertha and Penelope; great uncles, Mark and Ronnie; cousins, Jamire, Ocean, Tyreke, Jah, Jordan, Jaya, Brook, Leah, Vellie and Lashawn; a host of other family and friends to include special friend, Pariss Drew.

Saturday, January 5, 2019, the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with service to follow at Overcoming Believers Church, 211 Harriet Tubman Street. Pastor Daryl W. Arnold officiating. All expressions of love may be delivered to the church.
