OBITUARY Gregory Brooks September 4, 1975 – January 5, 2019 Play Tribute Movie Gregory Lynn Brooks, age 43 of Tazewell was born September 4, 1975 and passed away January 5, 2019 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was saved at an early age and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Greg was a generous soul, always smiling, always full of life.

He was a skilled carpenter who loved to fish, and a served many years as a dedicated volunteer firefighter. Greg is survived by his father Donald E. Brooks of Tazewell, mother Mildred Brooks of Harrogate, sisters Barbara Sue Kinsler (Terry) and Trish Noe (Ronnie) both of Tazewell, nieces Amanda Martin (Daniel) and Meagan Cooper (Derek) both of New Tazewell, great nieces Maddie Ayers, Meridyth Payne, and Olivia Martin, special friends Dale Brogan, Doug Thacker, Johnny Carter, and Marty Tuttle, along with a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday January 8th from 5 until 7 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home, funeral service will follow at 7 P.M. in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel.

The graveside service will be held Wednesday January 9th at 11 A.M. in Red Hill Cemetery #1. Preacher: Rev. John Hall Obituary: Rev.
