29, of Wakefield, passed away suddenly in a work accident on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Michael Hanna and Julie Masse-Hanna of Wakefield. Greg was a self-employed arborist in the South County area.

He was a citizen of the world, traveling extensively throughout his life. As a loving, kind soul with compassion for humans, animals and nature alike, Greg’s heart knew no bounds. He had a wealth of friends and family that were central to his life.

Greg developed a strong, spiritual connection to his inner voice through his mindful practice of Purna Yoga. Besides his loving parents, he leaves behind his dear brother Michael S. Hanna of Wakefield; the love of his life, Emily Ciano of Wakefield; paternal grandparents Samuel Hanna of Pawtucket and the late Bernice Hanna; maternal grandparents William and Julia Masse of Pawtucket; as well as his four legged, “sweet boy” Gussie. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory- SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd.

(Rt. 1A) Narragansett on Saturday at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston. Burial will be private.

VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greg Hanna Charitable Fund, PO Box 1805, Kingston, RI 02881 or The You Caring Fund Page bit. ly/2HNCWzh to be used for environmental and humanitarian efforts.
