85, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at home on Thursday, June 28, 2018. He was the beloved husband of sixty-five years to Marie (Corrado) Garofano. Born in East Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Florence (Marmon) Garofano, Sr. Frank was the owner of Displays by Garo, a manufacturing and design company in Lincoln, RI for thirty years before retiring in 2003.

He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War. Frank was the recipient of the Purple Heart. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Deborah A. Gardiner of South Kingstown, Gail J. Henriques and her husband Richard of South Kingstown, Frank Garofano, III and his wife Jean of North Conway, NH, Gary D. Garofano and his wife Sharon of Charlestown, and Michael A. Garofano of South Kingstown.

Frank was the cherished grandfather of Jessica Ryan, Meghan Cotter, Jeffrey Garofano, Tara Henriques, Ryan Garofano, Ali Garofano, Rachel Garofano, Alesandra Garofano, William Garofano, Francesca Garofano, and the great grandfather of Bryce Michael Cotter and Eve Winter Cotter. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A) Narragansett.

Burial with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-7 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A) Narragansett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd. , Warwick, RI 02886.
