80, of Cranston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie “Margie” (Moretti) Romeo. Born in East Providence, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Gloria (Raposa) Romeo.

Anthony was a self-employed jewelry polisher and was also employed by the Providence School Department in the Maintenance Department before his retirement. Anthony is survived by his loving daughters, Antonia S. Verrill and her husband Garth of Cranston, and Alexandria S. Romeo of Providence. He was the cherished grandfather of Ariana S. Romeo.

Anthony was the brother of the late Henry Romeo and Carol Tiberi. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
