91, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the West Shore Health Center in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Roperti. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Vincenza (Martino) DiOrio.

She was the loving mother of Mary Adoptante of Warwick, with whom she lived, and Elizabeth Cappalli and her husband Richard of Coventry. She was the sister of the late Domenic and Anthony DiOrio and Elena DiBiase. She is also survived by her kitty Sunny Gal.

Celia worked at the former William Jette & Company for many years before her retirement. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. , Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Timothy’s Church, Warwick.

Burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 6 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
