63, of North Providence, passed away in his home on Thursday, June 7, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Donna (Marino) Solitro. Born in Providence he was a son of Armando Solitro and the late Barbara (Correia) Solitro.

He was the loving brother to Robert Solitro and his wife Anne of Manchester, NH, Sandra Solitro of Johnston, Linda Broccoli and her husband Henry of Cranston, Lucy Potter and her husband Dan of Bedford, NH and Anthony Solitro and his wife Martha of Warwick. Steven was the cherished uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a security officer for many years until his retirement.

Steven was a little league coach for over twenty years and an avid sports fan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 11th, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Visiting hours and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steven’s memory to the Epilepsy Foundation New England, 335 Main Street, Wilmington, MA 01887, or to a charity of your choice.
