69, of West Warwick, passed away at home on Monday, June 25, 2018. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alberto and Mary DeMatteo, Sr. Alberto was a self-employed general contractor for many years. He was a longtime resident of Cranston and the Past Chief of the Meshanticut Park Volunteer Fire Company.

He is survived by his loving son, W. Scott DeMatteo and his wife Lisa of Hope, RI and the late Charles DeMatteo; cherished grandchildren, Thomas and Kristin DeMatteo; dear siblings, Maryann DiSpirito, Barbara Folgo, Alberta Ruggieri, Michael DeMatteo, and David DeMatteo. His funeral services are private.
