Gregory Stephen Weldon, Sr., 68, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Baptist Health Madisonville. He was born in Henderson, KY on June 12, 1950 to the late Lambert Dixon Weldon and Mamie Weldon of Madisonville, KY. He was of the Methodist faith.

He was a Mason, Order of the Scottish Rite, a Shriner, and a Kentucky Colonel. He had worked in the Electric Department for the City of Madisonville and had been a coal miner and Federal Mine Inspector. .

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Trazia Bell in 2015 and a sister, Tonda Davis. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Angella Weldon of Madisonville, KY; three children: Stacie Devine of Pensacola FL. , Kelly Foster of Calhoun, KY; and Gregory Stephen Weldon II of Calhoun, KY; twenty-six grandchildren; and one niece.
