Upon graduating from Port Townsend high school he went on to study at Walla Walla College where he graduated in 1951 with a business degree. Grover is survived by two daughters, Barbara Woodland (Terry) of Walla Walla, Ronda King (Art) of College Place, two sons, Ken Rose (Lana) of Joseph, Oregon, Steve Rose (Suzann) of Walla Walla, and a foster daughter, Lisa Tenorio of Mexico, a foster son-in-law Joel Sebastian, 26 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty Rose, a foster daughter, Mariana Sebastian, a granddaughter, Elonni King, and a grandson, Theron King. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Bangla Hope, 6853 W Kennewick Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336. Grover’s memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the College Place Village SDA church.
