Guadalupe R. Saldana Jr., 86, a resident of Kingsville, TX died on March 9, 2019 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born on April 24, 1932 in Kingsville, TX to Guadalupe and Sofia Saldana. He was a retired truck driver, and was formerly employed with the Texas National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Petra H. Saldana; one brother, Roel Saldana; and one sister, Francis Pena. Survivors include two daughters, Rachel Garcia and Anna Saldana, both of Kingsville; three sons, Guadalupe (Margarita) Saldana III of Bishop, Eduardo (Lucy) Saldana of Kingsville, and Joe (Cynthia) Saldana of New Braunfels; one sister, Graciela Ruiz of Chicago; one brother, Eloy Saldana of Kingsville; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wed.

, 03-13-2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held on Wed. , 03-13-2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, 03-14-2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin’s Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating. Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home of Kingsville, TX.
