Gwendolyn Dionne Little, 47, of Parallel Court, Concord, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 15, at the Tucker Hospice House. She was born March 31, 1971 in Cabarrus County to the late Rev. Floyd T. Little, Sr. and the late JoAnn Grier Little.

Gwendolyn was educated in the Kannapolis Schools and was a 1989 graduate of A.L. Brown High School. She worked in Home Health and was a member of Full Gospel Baptist Church where she served as Secretary, Choir member and director of the Children’s Choir. Services will be held Wednesday May 22, at Concord Christian Center.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM with funeral services at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ursula Little.

Those left to cherish fond memories include: two sons, Jamarcorius Little of the home, Kahmere Bost of Kannapolis; two daughters, Essence Bailey, Timnashia Bailey both of the home; seven grandchildren, Adriana Little, Aubrey Little, Kylee Little, Maddison Little, Josiah Johnson, Ezra Little, Kaylee Miller; one sister, Greta l. Evans (Frank) of Kannapolis; one brother, Floyd T. Little, Jr. (Carla) of Salisbury; special friend, Calvin Bost of Kannapolis; special niece, Lasheica Stofford; special nephew, Aviance Little; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
