Obituary for Gwendolyn Purcell Gwendolyn Purcell, 85, of Acworth, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 28, 2018 at, Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory, Macland Chapel, in Powder Springs with Rev. Cindy Blocksidge officiating.

Ms. Purcell is survived by her nieces, Deanna Beadles(Terry) of Acworth, Ga. and Laura Purcell of Acworth, Ga. , and her nephew Philip Purcell of Belfast, Ireland.

Along with other extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thornton and Lou Etta Purcell, and her 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Gwendolyn was a long time member of McEachern United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Powder Springs.
