Obituary for Haleaka M. Martin Haleaka M. Martin, 84 of Kaneohe Hawaii has passed away on June 1, 2018 at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Honolulu. Haleaka was born to mother, Margaret Whitecloud and father, George Kauakahialii Kauka in Honolulu Hawaii on July 13, 1933. She retired as a Teacher with the State Government; Department of Education.

Haleaka is survived by sister, Elizabeth Kauka; daughters, Peggianne (Allen) Wallace, Ferol (Colin) Ka’alele, Kalehua (Keali’i) Kamakawiwo’ole; grandchildren, Taylor Ka’alele, Kahiwa and Kamehana Kamakawiwo’ole; great grandchild, Remy Moana Ka’alele Wong; preceded in death by grandson, Colin Ka’alele. Funeral services for Haleaka will be on Thursday July 5, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be at 5:30 pm with services to begin at 6:30 pm.
