OBITUARY Harold N. Hammarlund October 23, 1929 – September 25, 2018 Harold N. Hammarlund, 88, of Marengo, passed away on September 25, 2018. Beloved husband of 48 years to Nancy Hammarlund. Loving father of Rebecca (John) Schaar.

Proud grandfather of Aidan, Hannah, and Lynnea. Dear brother of Anita (Roy) Reents, Eric (Eleanor) Hammarlund, Richard (Donna) Hammarlund, Helen Benson. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ernest and Anna; his siblings: Clarence Hammarlund and Alice Sibrava.

Harold was a proud Air Force Veteran and he served in the Korean War. He was an avid horseman and he and his wife owned Keith Line Riding Academy and Creedmoor Farm. Memorial Visitation at Zion Lutheran Church, 412 Jackson St, Marengo, IL 60152, Friday, September 28, 2018 from Noon until time of Memorial Service at 1 p.m. For information, call the Funeral Home (815) 568-8131.
