Harriet A. Readmond, age 90, of Levering passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Hospice House in Cheboygan. She was born June 4, 1928 in Pellston, the daughter of George and Susan (Hartung) Stark. On December 24, 1948 in Levering, Harriet married Keith Readmond who preceded her in death in 2014.

Harriet graduated from Pellston High School in 1947. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Levering and enjoyed flowers, bird watching and spending time with her family and her cat Orick. Survivors include her two sons, Leonard (Betty) and Jim (Ann) Readmond, both of Levering, her daughter-in-law, Lisa Readmond of Levering, sister, Viva Bomber of Sterling Heights, five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and three great-great granddaughters.

Besides her husband Keith, Harriet was preceded in death by her two sons, Walter and Michael, one great granddaughter and 11 siblings. A visitation will take place at the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home on Monday, March 4 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and burial will take place in the spring at McKinley Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Cheboygan Hospice House.
