Harriet Anne (nee Erpelding) Hach, 85, of Zion passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at her home at Barton Residences, 3500 Sheridan Rd in Zion, IL. Anne was born June 20, 1933 in Evansville, Indiana. Anne was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church in Zion and was a member of the Carmelite Order.

She is survived by her children, Mary Catherine (William) McDonald, Peter Charles (Joanna) Tessin, Daniel Raymond (Julia) Hach, grandchildren, Lena Anne Dixon, Sarah Dixon, and Reuben Hach. Anne is preceded in death by her children Richard Floyd Tessin and John Steven Tessin, parents John Kenneth and Margaret Myrtle (Dorgan) Erpelding. Siblings Donald Erpelding, Cyril Erpelding, Helen Kenaga, Sheila Erpelding, Eileen Dragovich, and Claire Erpelding.

There will be a funeral mass at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Our Lady of Humility Catholic Church, 10655 W Wadsworth Rd, Beach Park, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the church before the mass. Anne’s Catholic faith was central in her life.

She was a member of the order of Carmelites, attended pilgrimages in Fatima, Portugal, Medjugorje, Bosnia, Rome, Italy, and The Holy Land. She also volunteered her time tutoring reading to children and working in soup kitchens. Anne has had a fondness for music and art.
