Obituary for Harriet “Chick” Held Harriet “Chick” Held, of St. Louis Park, born Jan. 5, 1922, passed away at the age of 96 on May 21, 2018. Preceded in death by dear husband, Samuel C. Held; parents, Selma and Albert Friss; sister and brother-in-law, Florence and Sam Skolnick; brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Dorothy Friss; brother-in-law, Gale Held; and co-grandmother, Elsie Turnquist.

Well loved by son and daughter-in-law, Alan Held and Dr. Trude Turnquist; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Dr. Casmir Held Turnquist and Dr. Kieran Higgins. Treasured by her companion, Vera Bonsu and her nurse, Heidi. Also survived by son, Bob (Avis); grandchildren, Ted, Zack, and Ellie; sisters-in-law, Ruth Held and Shirley Held; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service MONDAY, MAY 28, 2018 at 5:00 PM, BETH EL MEMORIAL PARK, 3726 Winnetka Ave. N., Crystal. Memorials preferred to Chick and Sam Held Senior Endowment Fund at Beth El Synagogue or donor’s favorite charity.
