Helen’s Obituary QUEENSBURY — Helen E. Worth, 95, of Wisconsin Ave. , passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 with loved ones by her side at Haynes House of Hope. Born March 21, 1924 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary (Conklin) Woods.

After many years of dedicated service, Helen retired from Great Escape Donut Shop. Her hobbies were many, including artistry, crocheting, knitting, and sewing. She taught herself how to do these things including playing many instruments, many of which she gave to loved ones and friends.

In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her husband, Robert Worth; a daughter, Linda Fitzgerald; an infant son, Tommy Jones; and five siblings, Virginia, Bill, Jim, Lennie, and Clarence. Those left to cherish her memory are her five daughters, Pat, Barbara, Janet, Donna and Lorraine; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn; three brothers, Francise, Ernest, and Charles Jr., also several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her dog and companion, Trixie. Calling hours will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 19, and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, May 20 at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Serrano officiating. A graveside service will follow at Pine View Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Hospice and Haynes House of Hope for the best love and care that we couldn’t have found anywhere else for our mother! We will be forever grateful to you all! In her loving memory, contributions may be made to Haynes House of Hope, 7187 NY-149, Granville, NY 12832.
